Peak Tram Service To Be Suspended Between 07 May to 11 May 2018

We have been informed by the Peak Tram company that the Peak Tram services will be temporarily suspended as per the notification below. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused to your guests due to this suspension.

Please be informed that the Peak Tram service will be temporarily suspended for maintenance and haulage rope replacement work for five days from Monday, 7 May 2018 to Friday, 11 May 2018 (both days inclusive and subject to weather conditions).

During the service suspension, alternative public transportations will be available:                                                                                                 

  • (A)  New World First Bus No. 15 between Central Star Ferry Pier and The Peak – a temporary bus stop will be added at the Garden Road Peak Tram Lower Terminus;
  • (B)  Public Light Bus No. 1 between Central (Hong Kong Station PTI at Two ifc) and The Peak – operation will be strengthened throughout the period.

Note:

  • The Peak Tower and Sky Terrace 428 will remain open during the period.
  • Services provided by New World First Bus No. 15C between Central Star Ferry Pier and the Garden Road Peak Tram Lower Terminus will be suspended during the period.

We apologise for any inconvenience this necessary regular maintenance may cause. More importantly, the safety of our passengers is of prime importance and the maintenance work will help to ensure that the Peak Tram remains a sound and reliable mode of transport for the community.
