Online Hong Kong Pre-Arrival Registration Process
The government of Hong Kong recently made it mandatory for all Indian nationals to pre-register and obtain a successful pre-arrival registration notification slip online, except some limited categories of persons who have been exempted. However, by and large, this is applicable to almost all visitors to Hong Kong.
The entire process is automated, and the result of the registration is known immediately upon submission. Registrants who are not successful need to apply directly to the Hong Kong Immigration Department for grant of permission, and Chinese Consulates will not accept such applications. Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions section of the official website of the Immigration Department for more information
